We're based at 1290 Remington Blvd in Bolingbrook, working on garage doors for houses in this part of Illinois. This isn't a call center routing you to a subcontractor three towns over - the truck that shows up is dispatched from here.
Most of the housing stock in this service area went up between 1938 and 2004, with the bulk of it dating to the 1960s and 70s. That matters because a door and opener installed on a house built in 1968 is not the same animal as one from a 2001 build - different spring sizes, different track widths, sometimes hardware nobody makes parts for anymore. We work on both, but we ask the build era on the phone because it changes what we bring on the truck.
We don't claim decades of history or a fleet count, because that's not what decides whether your spring gets fixed right. What decides that is whether the tech knows what he's looking at when he opens your garage. That's what we focus on.
The Work We Take On
Broken torsion and extension springs, cables off the drum, bent or dented panels, openers that grind, click, or just sit there, rollers that have worn their track grooves ragged - that's the bulk of the calls we get. We also handle full door replacements when a repair isn't worth it anymore, which happens more on older housing stock than people expect.
Our winters here run cold enough that steel contracts, lubricant thickens, and openers that were fine in October start hesitating in January. If your door has gotten sluggish or noisy as it's gotten colder, that's a pattern we see every season, not a one-off.
What we don't do: we're not a general contractor, and we don't touch structural framing around the opening - if your header or jamb needs rebuilding, that's a different trade and we'll tell you so up front instead of taking the job anyway. We stick to the door, the opener, the track, and the hardware that runs them.

Have the basics ready when you call: the make of your opener if you know it, roughly how old the door is, and what it's actually doing - won't open, opens partway and stops, makes a bang, that kind of thing. That gets you a faster read on whether it's a same-day fix or something that needs a part ordered first.
After You Call
We'll ask what the door is doing, how old the setup is, and whether anyone's tried to force it open or closed - that last one matters because a jammed door that's been muscled open can hide a second problem underneath the obvious one.
From there we give you a straight answer on timing. Some jobs - a snapped spring, a popped cable - are same-day work with parts we carry on the truck. Others, especially on older doors where the track or opener model is discontinued, need a part ordered, and we'll tell you that instead of guessing at a timeline we can't hit.
We don't do a hard sell once we're in your garage. If the fix is a fifteen-dollar roller instead of a new opener, that's what we tell you. If the door's original hardware is failing across the board and patching it isn't worth your money, we'll say that too, and let you decide what to do with it.
